Random Chills And Goosebump Patches

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get chills only on one part of the body followed by a strange patch of goosebumps?

I usually get a chill on my right arm and I can actually see a random patch of goosebumps forming. It disappears after a few seconds. I sometimes get it on my leg also.

I’ve had this symptom for over a year now.

I get this too! Anyone ever get an explanation? Is it fibro related?

Did anyone end up getting an answer to this by chance? I’ve been having the random pins and needles sensation recently - mostly on my left side - but just for the first time was wearing shorts and noticed the patches of goosebumps. Kind of freaked me out. Only other thing that has changed recently is I’ve been experiencing some abnormal back pain. Anyway just wondered if anyone got any insight on this from doctors.

Yes! Mine just started a few weeks ago and it's driving me crazy. I'll be sitting watching a movie and it feels like the hairs raise on my thigh and calf and then goosebumps appear for just a few seconds and they're gone! I'm not cold or emotionally anxious. It's always in the same spot.
