Temperature Regulation Issues?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am often very cold, but when I get hot, boy it is AGGRESSIVE.
Also, last time I saw the doctor (last week) I had a low temperature - anyone else have issues regulating their body temps?

Yes Unfortunately it is a symptom of Fibromyalgia and I have and no control over mine my thermostat must be broken.

Get so hot and sweaty as well as the other way around where I can be Freezing Cold as well.

Very frustrating indeed not much that you can do to regulate it unfortunately.

Yes! I have a low body temp and get chills and sweating. I have become very sensitive to hot and cold weather.
It is frustrating..

Dealing with the swings in my body temp is one of the most frustrating things I am dealing with. Live in the north east in the winter is the worst for me. I developed raynauds so bad that I just can not go out when the temps are freezing. Lived in Florida and just went back to visit friends and family and was praying I would get some relief. It was worse than I expected...temps were in the 80's and I was either sweating from head to toe or walking into air conditioning and getting chills...not fun so I guess I'm not moving to Florida!!! My body temps have been below normal for years.

I am never comfortable. I am either way too hot or way too cold. When I was working (I have been off almost a year due to back injury) I would have sweat rolling down my face and my skin burning, while my arms and hands would be ice cold. Then in the afternoon I would be so cold my hands would be purple. I had to carry a fan with me to cool me and also a jacket for when I got cold.
