Jaw Discomfort/ Chin?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mission, TX

So I have the classic symptoms of TMJ. Point below ear, tender to touch. I hear crunching noises when I open my mouth wide, teeth pain, jaw gets tired from eating or talking too long. But I also have this weird twitch on my chin. It’s not jerking, not dropping, still able to eat or talk with no issues or anything. It feels like a pulling sensation. Anyone have anything like that, along with TMJ? It’s a weird sensation. Been there for 4 days now.

This happened to me a few years ago and now it's back. The pain in my jaw feels as if someone is stabbing me with pins and needles. I massage my cheek and it subsides. I try to keep my head up and not let this get me down.

Yes I have TMJ and my jaw feels like that sometimes. If I move it in the right way, it will pop, too.
