It's the fibro and I've read that the cause is low serotonin levels in your brain although I'm sure it's much more complicated. I use 5% lidocaine ointment to dull the itching, creepy crawlers, and ants under the skin which usually occurs at night when I'm trying to relax myself and prepare to sleep.

I think it is all just fibro. So many different symptoms. Fibro is over active nerves so hits all different ways. Like bugs biting, electrical feeling shocks, the worst for me is the itching just can't seem to make that itch go away. Hugs and Prayers

Hi,I more recently have experienced something like this,mine was my left leg,I felt a sensation as something was on my leg,crawling,this was quite constant for several weeks,then stqrted on my left arm.I googled the symptons and one of the things that made sense was nerve pain.I have lumber spinal stenosis with nerve impingement, on my left..Tina.

Yes I do. And as Michele @A MyFibroTeam Member said, Also the bug bite sensation and electric shock feelings. Tickling , tingling, crawlly feelings. Burning as if someone touched you with a hot curling iron or lit cigarette. sudden sharp pain anywhere. And the random itchies .

I get it on my hands. Sometimes I feel tinkling inside my stomach and it goes to my feet, like an electric current. I used to get a bit annoyed by the sensation but now it is milder and it feels like someone is tickling me inside. I just laugh it off.
