Work wont give the adjustments that I need because no one will give any recommendations on my condition. I called my general practitioner today and he rushed me off the phone. I felt the same way. I was diagnosed and then dumped. So many doctors were taught in medical school that fibromyalgia was a questionable malady. The Rheumatologist that I went to told me to take a hot bath to handle servere pain. Really! That is the best that you’ve got? A bath does help with the aching, but not as a complete solution.
I just kept looking and i found a terrefic pain management doctor. You are not alone.

I'm so sorry you going through this. It's very hard to find support in doctors. Think about going to a rheumatologist for a recommendation. And changing your primary care doctor. It may take time to find an understanding doctor but it's worth it in the long run. You need support for your mental and physical wellbeing. Remember we are here for you too. Keep your head up!
