For The People That Have Anxiety Over Getting Covid
As many of you know, Back in March I had Covid and went through hell. I’ve been really nervous about my husband getting it so I’ve been doing all the shopping and errands. I had him get a blood test to see if he could have been asymptotic and had Covid. I’m so relieved to see he has the antibodies which means he did have the virus. So for people like me that are worried about a loved one or yourself getting Covid, I suggest getting the blood test.
My doctor wants me to get blood test done for thyroid etc. She also mentioned if I wanted to have a test for Covid19. I said yes xx
@A MyFibroTeam Member, even though I had the virus, I still wear a mask ever time I go out, have 2 types of hand sanitizer with me every time I go out along with a big pack of hand wipes in my van. It’s rare, but you can get the virus again. I NEVER want to go through that again, so we both are very careful
I do know some people that got it again, so definitely don’t let your guard down! Stay safe and healthy! And... I have bouts of major anxiety over covid!
@A MyFibroTeam Member, I’m not sure I understand your question. There is a specific test that tests for antibodies. If the test is positive it means you had the virus in the past. My husband never showed signs of having the virus, but because I had it I thought he may have caught it from me and was asymptotic.....or he could have actually gave it to me 🤷🏼♀️ There is so much about this virus that is unknown, but I feel a little better knowing he tested positive for the antibodies. We still both protect ourselves by wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, social distancing etc. they are reporting you can get the virus again, it’s rare, but it can happen.
Finally having my bloods done on Monday.plus vivid one. GP is also going to give me my flu hab whilst I'm there.
My bloods are thyroid and others so they can check the previous markers
