When it starts to subside, it starts leaving my head follows down my neck and then my chest. After the episode I feel fine, but when it happens it stops me in my tracks. Yes, to a point. I asked a question this week asking about my skull pain. I had no better way to describe it. You just did. The vice feeling I get that. It does not go down to my chest though but to my neck.

This happens me it seems every so often but it is not constant. I have no idea why. I have asked a few of my doctors and they to be honest did not seem to take it serious. I will be bringing it back up again at my next appt.

I hope you can find some answers.

If it starts in the head with a pain like you described, honestly I would go and get checked to see if I am at risk for a stroke.
