I have read a few studies online which identify Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth as the cause of fibro. Most studies I’ve found state 90+% are symptom free after treating the overgrowth.

I have been tested (privately) and took my results to a gastro who had diagnosed me with IBS (he only tested cal protection). He then prescribed me antibiotics and I’m now fibro free. I would urge anyone to read into this, it’s really frustrating nhs are not yet linking fibro to SIBO.
