Does Reading Make Your Tmj Worse?
I've been in a big flareup with my tmj past few weeks so i havent been reading. I've been feeling mostly okay today so i read a few pages and that triggered my eyeache, headache and jaw ache.
I love cookbooks. I have a few favourites but always looking for a good gluten free and diabetes cookbook.
@A MyFibroTeam Member 16 years ago we moved cities and sized down from a huge house to a 3 bedroom rancher. We gave away 7 book cases and the books that they contained. We are now down to 5 book cases which are mostly filled with pottery and art from our travels. I've only kept cookbooks ( very few), textile books, gardening books, and a few collections of favourite authors. My husband has a few of his favourite books as well.
I used to read alot but as you've mentioned the weight of the books made it difficult. So now I listen to audio books. I find I can get distracted while listening but that's easy to fix... I just rewind๐.
I hardly read anymore due to concentration and the weight of a book. I have so many books and I think I'll have to donate or sell alot of my books.
Relax and take it easy today. Hugs ๐
Reading is also difficult for me, both the weight of even a pocket book and my eyesight. I download audio books from the public library. Someone else from Britain was also interested in finding out if that's available there. I use a cordless ear piece and carry my phone in a pocket and listen all day while working around the house and garden. My husband reads books loaded on his tablet at the same time so I don't disturb him with my book.
