I believe barometric pressure can increase our discomfort too, especially my migraines. And like my grandfather used to say, "snows coming. My broken bones hurt." I too feel snow in my broken bones, but my best "help" comes from remaining calm. If I stress over the pain it gets worse. Learning meditation has been my best tool! Better than pain meds, even ketamine infusions!

Surgery, viruses, car accidents, even stress like loss of a loved one can start up fibromyalgia. Nobody acts the same. No one answer fits all. I've had fibromyalgia since 1978, started with what has been identified as a H1N1 virus that swept through in the late 70s nickname the Russian Flu. Killed 700,000. Put me in the hospital for a week, then I developed Fibro and CFS the next year. Of course they hadn't coined CFS yet. I've struggled ever since then. But for me, my improvement started when I stopped gluten, sugar and processed foods. I also do PT exercises everyday, and gentle aerobics 3 times a week. A set bedtime, no alcohol, and meditation has helped. Basically it has been a total lifestyle change for me. I also got off Premarin and started on natural estrogen made from yams. These changes took place over years. Make one change at a time. Listen to your body, then decide if the change is working. Be patient. God bless.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I agree. Didn't think of the barometric pressure has been crazy in Southern IL it's been raining long days and nights. Temperatures of weather has been below in cold to 50 degree next 2 day and it keeps this rainy mixed up weather. Thank you for sharing.
