Sorry to hear about your Covid diagnosis.
Yes it's common. Anything foreign that enters the body, Covid in this case, can cause a flare. Any stress on your body can also cause a flare.
Hope you find relief soon πŸ’œπŸ«‚

Kris4, I had covid and I never took the shot. I know so many people who died after getting it or became chronically ill with it that I just couldn't do it. I have enough problems with type 1 diabetes and other things. My girlfriends mom was in a assisted living place and the doctor kept pressing her to give her mom the "shot" she finally agreed and a week later she was dead. My husband and I do alot of research and I don't care what the media and doctors say, the real and honest ones say don't get it. I did get a pneumonia and flu shot but will never get the covid one. My girlfriend got every booster and she's had covid 8 times. I know alot of people will thing I am crazy or ignorant, but, I know I'm not. Sending love and hugs...

Sorry that you have Covid to make things more complicated, Right? It is terrible when we go through other things along with our struggles with Fibromyalgia. I hope that you feel better. I know here we have a medicine that shortens Covid and kills it off in three days. There are two different choices for medication. If you have Egres Covid (If I said it right, it could be Eres) anyway, that one we can catch over and over because no vaccine will prevent that one and it is going around here big time. Ask a doctor about medication to shorten it so that you can get back to dealing with just Fibro and other complications we deal with. Praying for you to feel better.
