Has Anyone With Fibro Ever Had A Surgery? And How Was The Pain Level?
I have a CAM hip impingement & osteoarthritis in my hip. Also, a rotator cuff tear in my shoulder. I have tried pain pills, physical therapy several times and several steroid shots on both and still having pain. The pain has been going on for about 5 years.
I have had many surgeries with the fibromyalgia arthritis and degenerate disk dease and anxiety and major depression and other things.
I've only had carpal tunnel surgery done on both hands over a period of time, thankfully this has resolved this issue for me and I didn't feel like I was in to much pain afterwards, considering the problems I was having leading up to having the surgery both times. Both surgeries were completely different in terms of recover, bruising and swelling but still wasn't too bad overall
Hi Cheryl, I read your message and I think we are pain twins, as I have all the same issues. I hope you live during those probably few lower pain days! Take care.
Sending hugs!! I hope you have some help.
I had a hip replacement 2 years ago. After the surgery I was in a lot of pain, not from the surgery but it caused more problems and pain in my back. I have degenerative discs and the surgery threw my back off. I have never been the same. My hip is fine but I now use a cane to walk.
