I have the reverse, an overactive immune system. I have a healed TB scar. It was discovered on an X-ray when I was 8. It's likely that I had TB when my father did when I was 2. I've only had the flu twice. Both times were in the 60s. I can't remember having a cold that lasted more than a few hours. I drink a hot rum toddy, have a nap, and when I get up, the cold is gone. Unfortunately my body takes offence at other things and I have a huge list of food sensitivities. Also I can only wear natural fibres.

I have been told that with fibromyalgia, like lupus, MS and RA we can have a weakened immune system. This can cause us to get things easier.
I have even gotten checked and I am immuno compromised.

I have a friend that has the same thing. He has really bad psoriasis which he attributes to that.
