Does Arthritis Trigger Fibro, Or Fibro Trigger Arthritis?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Oxford, UK

I used to have it just in my insteps. In a relatively short space of time, it is now in most joints and I am recovering from a triple ankle fusion.
My diet is healthy, no artificial sweetners in anything. Lots of fruit and veg. 99% cooked from scratch.

In my experience with chronic inflamation and arthritist is that when the pain level is high it will trigger a fibro flare.
You are on a good plan. An anti inflamatory diet is your new best friend.

I don’t think they’re connected. I would definitely see a doctor. Feel better. God bless!
