How Long Does Remission Usually Last

Never had a true remission (when I had zero symptoms). Even from the very beginning of my fibro symptoms I had them rotating all over my body, changing pain locations weekly, monthly, and so on. Remission for me is when I am not extremely tormented with sharp, burning, stabbing, numbing pains, and aches, sound sensitivity, light sensitivity. Just baseline overall aches like I was the football in a football game. Those periods may last for2-3 weeks. Then "flare".

I just was symptom free (unbelievably) for 10 days and now it is beginning again with the tingling/numbness etc in my feet… I almost forgot how incredibly horrible it is to be interminably in pain and the multiple other symptoms

Vera, it is helpful to hear from people like yourself about our common experiences of pain… it is so often so excruciatingly difficult you think you are trapped in a world of pain no one can really understand… then you take a moment to read that yes, there are many many of us who struggle for normalcy each and every day and night this crazy problem …
