Hi Vic, it's not heartburn. I have been told it's fibromyalgia. The breatbone expands and contracts. I'm a side sleeper, so the pressure causes it to flare up and muscle spasms in my back also cause it. It hits whenever.

I'm so sorry! I'm not afraid anymore of a heart attack but I'm always making sure that there aren't any new pains or sweating, etc.
