Good old fashioned prune juice daily or prunes as Lynnecarol states. Safe and effective and doesn't make you laxative dependant which can cause disastrous complications. Good luck. 🤗😉

Also , definitely a proven fact without a scientific doubt:
.stress and such causes gi problems. Back aches . Headaches and much more.

We live stressful lives
Just humans in general
Especially those with chronic health problems

Especially x 50 those with chronic pain syndromes/diseases.

Or chronic any medical problems. Really

Hi Nancy, I told Trevor what works for me...serious clog, when your choice is an enema or ? because you're like cement inside, I go for the stool softeners and senokot even though it's very hard on your body. Moderate constipation...stool softeners and a cup of Senna Leaf Tea at bedtime. For mild constipation, a couple of stool softeners or not, but a cup of Senna Leaf Tea and a brisk walk. Exercise and walking are essential too keep your bowels moving. You're only going to get even more clogged if you are sedentary and may even have to resort to surgery to remove the blockage if an enema doesn't work either. But maintenance is the best, as I told Trevor, a well balanced diet, plenty of water and fiber ( if I'm not getting enough, I have either flax seeds or flax meal in my food ) and most important...walk or some form of movement, but walking is actually best!!! And that's what works for me. Thanks for your input Nancy. I agree wholeheartedly. Til Later.......Be Well. Take Care. Thea2 😊

My PCP recommends fiber, like Miralax, or similar. Room temp cola drinks help some people. Eat more fiber, exercise, drink water.

I worked with a surgeon who routinely prescribed stool softeners (Colace) whenever she prescribed pain meds. I still take whenever I receive tramadol or vicodin. I also take prebiotics every day. Hope this helps.
