I had mono as an adult (45). Was in hospital for two weeks. I also wonder if Fibro was a result. Who knows..also had spinal surgery in my 40's. Now in my 80's ...Fibro just keeps getting worse..skin rashes, joint pain, etc. Doctors don't seem to care about old people. Guess they figure we will die soon anyway. I keep active and live day by day. Keep a good attitude...at least I try.

Yes, I had Mono when I was 21 for three months😣! Many who have Fibro, have had Mono or Epstein Barre. Years ago, my Dr at that time felt Mono had a direct connection.

As far as Lyrica one doctor told me to never use Lyrica because the side effects are so bad. I believe psych drugs such as cymbalta should not be used for a physical condition.
