Fatigue: Live Within The Limits Or Power Through, That Is The Question.

The treatment of low energy is increased exercise. But when fatigued I can only get so far into the day and my brain crashes with no more ability to think for work or at home. How to do this?

I live within the limits. Like Margaret said, I listen to my body. Once in a while I feel the need to power thru and ignore my body and I always regret it. Always. To each their own, though. πŸ˜˜πŸ’šπŸ©·

If anyone experiences P.E.M., I think they need to take a middle path with this and apply the approach called pacing, even without a confirmed diagnosis of ME/CFS.
"Staying within the β€œenergy envelope,” or pacing, is one way a person with ME/CFS can help mitigate PEM. Avoiding activities which will place too great a strain on the body's ability to produce adequate ATP is a key strategy of pacing, but adequate rest is equally as important."

ATP = Adenosine triphosphate is a nucleotide that provides energy to drive and support many processes in living cells, such as muscle contraction, nerve impulse propagation, and chemical synthesis.

Anne Elliot... pacing is like only staying active for a certain space of time with rest in between, or using a fitness watch and keeping heartrate below 100?

@Annie2PO That's a great question and one that I'm not qualified to answer as I'm still learning.
