Sometimes that can be stress headaches. When I first started getting migraines, non aura but always around my left temple I discovered something. I was at the neurologist and I told him I had my migraine but I also felt like someone had driven a hatchet into the top of my head and also like someone was hitting my head with a bat on the bottom of my head. He told me I was having 3 simultaneous headaches. I told him I inly had 1 head. Turns out I was having my regular migraine plus one on top was a stress headache and the bottom of head was a tension headache.
