I do have flare-ups! I also have Osteoarthritis so for years I just blamed everything on that because most doctors just didn't understand Fibromyalgia. I went through the doctors plowing me under with pain meds until I had central apnea. They put me on things like Lyrica and Amitriptyline and I gained huge amounts of weight. I weined myself off of it all, lost weight (with the help of cancer) and now take OTC meds and Tramadol. Long story short...I refuse to give into it. To be handicapped. I'm in pain all the time but I don't want people to know that. I've had this for over 20 years. I do everything I can . I'm 67 and I still ride a horse. I'm thinking about taking up rding a motorcycle again. 🏍 I will not be a victim of this disease! But I will say that when I have a flare-up, I go to bed!πŸ€—

My pain is consistent every day and worsens during the fall and winter, in damp weather, and spaces with cool air from the air-conditioner. My bones feel swollen and it is excruciating. Additionally, I recently found out that the pain in the side of my head is a migraine. When I used to go to the doctor and they asked if I had headaches, I always said no. I never knew that what I was experiencing was a migraine headache until I described my pain to one of my doctors. I always thought it was nerve pain.

My pain is also consistent daily Sima. I’m not sure what a flare up feels like. But depending on the weather I have some days worse than others.

I spent eight years more or less in bed Cute. When I stopped this I could barely walk. I started walking a neighbours dog. At first it was hell, tired and in pain everywhere. After two years of following your example I can walk a mile on a good day, bad days a few hundred yards. My dog Alfie fixes me with his sad eyes and I can’t deny him a walk. Take care.
