Understandable at first. When I was first diagnosed In 1998 I had no computer and relied on friends who had fibromyalgia and had been diagnosed. The library had no information. Now you have this site and can request information. Always post if something concerning happens. Many gentle hugs, dear.

Me too! But I can say I find things much easier now I have more knowledge on my disorders/symtoms.

Fed up with suffering and in a very bad way I decided, Once diagnosed to research my conditions.

I applied for intensive talk therapy and after months of waiting found immense relief mentally and physically. I was introduced to The mind-body-soul connection, amongst other things. It’s also known as the mind-body connection, and it is a theory that states that thoughts, feelings, and beliefs can influence our biology for better or worse. In other words, thoughts and emotions can affect our overall health and visa versa.

This health anxiety on top of everything else we deal with is understandable but we can get better at coping with it 😘

I am sorry your suffering 😔 but please don’t do it alone!💗

Back then….My doctor refered to me to

(Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) ( email them and ask for help💗)

Who then referred me on to get better help for my conditions. I was in therapy for 18wks, Off work for 4 months!

I am stronger and and less anxious ⭐️the first step for me was acceptance.

I hope they can help you too😘

Hard work but so worth it!

Sending big hugs Lucy10
& loads of love ❤️

I like Lynne, was diagnosed in the 1990’s. I found five books at Barnes and noble store. I read them all , trying to figure this thing out. My doctors were not much help. There was one book in particular that really helped me. It was a book written by alot of women who had fibromyalgia ,and talked about all the issues and how it affected them. That got me through fibromyalgia until the Internet got going years later. This site and others on the Internet are a godsend.
