Has Anyone Ever Had Had A Flare That Affected Your Jaw Or Teeth?
I recently had a really bad flare up and I started having a toothache. I thought it might be the start of an abscess at first but it never got any worse. It was a dull achy feeling. Later it moved to a different tooth on that side and then moved to a few different places and then eventually went away. Now it has been a few days and my teeth are all fine. That is a first for me.
Yes! I’ve experienced this on a number of occasions. Sometimes it affects my eye as well.
This has happened to me several times. As well as other weird pains, I give it a couple weeks and see if it’s still there.
Yes! Similarly to Nicole, it can also affect the eye. For me it is burning skin around the eye, pain in orbital bone. The jaw and teeth too. Deep aching pain. Dentist sees no issues.
@A MyFibroTeam Member That is scary. I hope the doctor is right and it isn't anything to worry about.
For the past several years I have had severe pain in my right jaw that radiates down to my chest. It lasts from 5 to 20 minutes. I was only getting it a few times a year. But lately I get it sometimes once a month. It scares me because I live alone and I think it's a heart attack and I quickly take a low dose aspirin. But my doctor says she gets the same thing and that it's arthritis of the jaw. I'm hoping that's all it is but why is it worse. Maybe it's because I am almost 77.
