Good luck!! Make sure they do alot of blood work and x-rays to rule out other possible diseases!! I had a friend that was diagnosed with fibromyalgia for months and when they finally did blood work they found out she had Lyme Disease!! Good luck on asking for relief for the pain (I hope that they give you something) because the doctors where I live (Erie, PA) don't believe that it helps they say it makes it worse and even before we start talking the first thing they say is we don't give pain meds!! Ask about all meds for fibromyalgia and if anything new that might be out that might help! Good Luck!!!!

Be sure he/she checks your range of motion. Also ask about arthritis do/does for food choices. Ask about pain medication. Ask about braces - back, knee, wrist ,etc.

Kristi Hi there! I am going today to a specialist today myself. I would like to hear what you hear at yours? Can I add you to my friends' list?
