Any Recommendations For What To Do For Pain While Working?
I work as a certified nurse aide and I'm going back to work but I'm so scared because of my pain and nothing seems to help. I love my job but I keep leaving them due to so much pain π’
Thank you for your work , my husband this year has had 2life lung supports, and then congested heart failure. Hubby is 85. Not only were the nurses staff completely dedicated to hubby but the nurses were so kind to me. Hubby is home. We a doing well
When I worked, the more I fretted and stressed, the worse the pain. I know itβs easier said than done, but try to remain calm. When you feel stressed, stop and do some deep breathing.
I was a CNA too and had to quit because it was too intense and causing so much pain, not enough sleep, emotional stress, etc.
You might want to look for a lower impact job like office work or even stuff where you can work from home.
What kind of exercise do you do, just a 30 minute walk sometimes is too much for me. A lot of pain when I try to lay down at night.
Regular exercise was and continues to be my lifeline, but especially when I worked on site. Lots of little movement breaks.
Compression socks and good fitting supportive shoes.
Now Iβm a desk jockey working mostly from home. And I still employ all of those things, just in sweat pants.
Good luck. I hope you find lots of supportive things to get you through your days pain free. ππ
