Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing similar twitches, jerks, and jolts when trying to fall asleep, with many describing sensations ranging from mild random twitching to intense full-body convulsions that sometimes resemble seizures or leave them feeling like they've been hit by a car. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped, including taking ropinirole for restless leg syndrome, sleeping in a V-position with the head and feet elevated to prevent electrolyte leakage, and taking warm baths before bed to help the body relax. A recurring theme was the frustration and pain of these nighttime symptoms interfering with rest, yet finding comfort in knowing others understand and share the same struggle.

My arms twitch, more so during the day. I get so many symptoms when I want to sleep. Some nights I have to get up and watch television. Take care Katie, and welcome.

Sorry it’s a struggle at night KT. I get this when I lay down and try to relax or sleep. I find it so difficult to resolve. Usually end up bathing. Take care.
