How Do People Make Money With Fibro

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sydney, AU

I'm 25, cant work without becoming extremely ill. (fibro, endo and RA). Cant do a nine to five and cant work on flare days which is often and random. Cant work on a roster bc of flares, insomnia etc. Trying to find a way I can gain some more financial independence without jeopordising my health. I am on disability pension but its not enough to afford rent let alone electricity, food etc. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi find a job where you can work remotely from home. I work from home and often on my lunch time I go to bed for a 30 min meditation

Hello, Gemma. I share the same with you, my friend. 🥴🤗
It is a doozy. I feel like one illness often triggers the other.

Have you looked into remote work and or gig work?

I’m in the US, so I can’t speak specifically to things over there. But I know some remote work is not location dependent, while some can be.

Maybe try looking for a blog for work from home seekers. These sites can often be catered towards mothers wanting to work from home, but not always and that’s kind of perfect anyway.

You could try selling your story about having fibro Gemma. Only teasing I know not having enough money is no joke. Take care.
