Good Evening, I Have A Question About Taking Methotrexate And Folic Acid. Has Anyone In The Group Had This Medication?

Yes. It was my understanding that I could not take the folic acid on the same day.

I feel they shouldn't use Cancer drugs to treat rheumatoid arthritis. My mom had rheumatoid arthritis she did not take anything like that.

Yes you have to take a minimum of 1 mg of folic acid although 3 mg of folic acid per day to reduce the risk of it damaging you liver! And inject in your legs as liver enzymes are released indicating liver injure because of injected tiny too close to your liver. I was on it methotrexate is a medication that was created to fight cancer, and requires monthly to very six weeks of lab work to make sure damage to !major organs is not happening. They will keep changing the biologic medications and eventually you will have to see a blood cancer specialist, that will tell you, I wish they would stop using cancer drugs to treat rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune issues. As these medications can also cause cancer
