Members strongly validated the experience of teeth and gum pain as a common and often debilitating symptom of fibromyalgia, with many attributing it to TMJ from unconsciously grinding teeth due to chronic pain, as well as related conditions like burning mouth syndrome and Sjogren's disease. Several members shared practical coping strategies, including using a water pik for gum care, sipping water to ease mouth burning, and taking medications to manage dry mouth, though many also described how severe pain has led to difficulty eating, speaking, or even opening their mouths for dental care. A recurring theme was the emotional and financial toll of dental deterioration, with members offering each other compassion and encouragement to let go of shame over things beyond their control.

I’m pleased to see you posting Blue. Your right no point in worry about things you can’t affect. I hope your coping. LOL.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I still have all my teeth, so I can say: "I understand what you're going through", but I can imagine...
I always says to my Mom: "This is a strange planet to live in. Every human being should have access to health, but it need to be conquered. Am I a human being, Mom?"
Don't be ashamed for what you can't change.

A lot. Especially because my pain is too high, so I see myself, most of the time, keeping my mouth shut, but with a strength enough to leave my teeth loose.
