Will Covid Make My Fibromyalgia Worse
Yes my flares were worse
Yes when I had COVID , I had terrible pain. Then was exhausted and slept a lot.You were lucky to have Plaxlovid. I had COVID Jan 2020, before they knew what it was. As u get better the pain will lessen.💝
Verabalogh, vicChang and Harlow,
Thanks for your replies. This is my first time for Covid. I just turned 75 this month so I was a little worried about my age and Covid. I am fully vaccinated . It has been a week today and I tested negative two days ago. I had a very mild case. I also took plaxovid and I think it really helped. I’m having lots of joint pain today, and my usual nerve pain. Nothing new, just more intense. I’m sure Covid is going to cause a flare. The weather has also gotten very cold and cloudy, after being dry and windy. So I’m not sure if it’s Covid , or the weather . I’m going to hope it settles down soon. Thanks again for your replies. It helps
I think so, just like every illness does
Hi Donnato, I've had covid twice and the first time was definitely worse. My symptoms lasted for over a month and did impact my fibro as well. I think just like fibro that covid can impact us each differently. I would say that if your symptoms are concerning that it may be best to speak with your doctor. Hope it passes for you soon.
