Exercise
Since it is so important for us to exercise with this illness I was wondering: What kind of exercises do you do? (Ex: yoga, tai chi, etc)
I have tried the water arobics too, I also find them the most tolerable form of exercise, especially Iae chi. Pardon the spelling, it is the water form of tae chi.
Exercise Helps??
I am curious... Whenever I excercise and move a bit more, my pain is extreme for days and days. I am wondering does it happen to others? Doctors keep telling me "keep exercising it will help". But I am always in pain and it feels worse after.
I am wondering is it me or are there others like me?
I feel like the doctors don't believe me. I used to bike, swim, skate, rollerblading, walking and I was doing well until I got FM.
When I exercise I always feel better for a few hours. Then the pain hits, and it's bad. Sometimes I have gone into a flare. Sometimes not. It just depends on how I'm feeling before I start exercising.
Types Of Exercise
Has anyone had positive results from an exercise routine? If so, what types of exercises do you find helpful? How much do you exercise when you're in a flare? Thanks in advance!
I'm trying out yoga. I figure it's a good way to stretch and exercise I can do anytime I have the energy
Protein Bars
I have realised my muscles are getting weaker. I have bought a couple of protein bars. I am just wondering if this is going to help improve it. If not what else can i try. Thanks for any advice and suggestions in advance.
I have found avoiding carbs, especially grain, increasing collagen consumption and proteins has helped with cramping but also with controlling weight gain
