Sharp Poison In Lower Back

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Rustenburg, ZA

Hi guys, I'm back again. ...
You guys are going to get tired of me asking these questions! Today I got this sharp pain in my lower back like a stabbing pain in my spine. I'm struggling to walk and fearing a pinched nerve. Do any of you get this?

Many thanks
Rebecca

Yes! I have it so bad a can not walk it goes from my lower back to my hip and down my legs it feels like the nerves r being pulled from my lower back! I go to my pain dr. He deadens those nerves and I and I'm pain free ( in my lower back and hips ) and can walk w/o pain for almost. 2 yrs I'm on my second treatment and will keep doing it my insurances pays for it as well

it could be your sciatica nerve ! it could be that some times it takes any where from weeks to months to go away ! i have 6 bulging disk's in my lower back , and on thur, i have to go have a second round of 8 shots on one side 8 right across from those and 4 across where the tail bone is . and they might have to burn a nerve ! hope that helps ! sending you love , peace ,joy and pain free day's and night's all way's michele !

I agree with you as it may be a back problem. I have had back problems for over 36 years, and I have definitely had that problem. You need to see a pain specialest and maybe get injections in your back. It will reduce the inflammation in your back so the nerve is not in the way..Sometimes it works, sometimes not but they usually give 3 in a row. Good Luck

@A MyFibroTeam Member I go for infiltration and it sounds like a similar procedure of deadening of the nerve. It really does work and I will have to mention it to my Dr. when I see him in August again.
