Has Anyone Tried An Electric Blanket To Wrap Themselves Into For The Pain?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone tried an electric blanket to wrap themselves into for the pain? We have a small hot water heater and I tried to get a tub full of water to soak in but it just didn't work out. I was wondering if the blanket would help like the water would. The heating pad is so small and I need it all over.

Actually, I have an electric blanket when I go to bed to keep me warm. During the day a heating pad helps me. But yes, I do find that the heating blanket and pad helps lots.

I have used an electric blanket and an electric throw blanket, too. It does help quite a bit.

I can't stand the heat! I sleep with a pliable freezer pack to keep me cool. If I didn't have teenage boys here, I would sleep nude. I hibernate during the Summer and enjoy the Winter. I'm a strange duck though, so my experiences are rather different.
