Do you feel your menstrual period causes more pain during a flare and maybe even invite new types of pain? Or do you hurt less?

Yes absolutely more pain. I also have endometriosis BUT I do feel like my fibro symptoms are worse too. Definitely.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I dread my period every month. I have an app on my phone that shows the date it is coming, so I don't think I'm dying. Every pain is amplified, and I'm twice as fatigued as normal. Like barely functioning. I was thinking of getting the Mirena IUD to prevent my period all together but I'm afraid. I read that hormonal changes cause flares.

@A MyFibroTeam Member That is why I'm afraid of the Mirena IUD. I've read horror stories, and seen commercials fro, law firms, urging people affected by it to contact them. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Glad you were able to conceive again :)

Morehope careful with IUD's... I had Morena for 4m5 years and got a severe case of pelvic inflammatory disease which spread into my uterus...it nearly left me baron. It took me over a year and a half after that to get pregnant with our second daughter
