Hi Liz. I so do understand you. I too am alone with no family or friends and Fibro so bad I can barely walk. I have no answers. I am extremely depressed and wish I could find a way out of all this. I am grateful for this Fibro Page

hi @A MyFibroTeam Member I doubt you'd get help for fibromyalgia however if you are under a mental health team they may be able to offer you some support. not sure how Manchester mental health services work but in stoke we have support time recovery STR workers (I'm one of them) who support people with activities of daily living, aimed at promoting independence, building confidence and social networks. its worth ringing your local mental health centre and asking what's available. xx

I mean someone that can come&help with day to day struggles, what ever form that comes in..I dont just have fibro but clinical depression generalised anxiety dissorder by pyciatrist, and p.t.s.d..due to something else..so I have no one, I isolate myself..some people are lucky to have a strong support system, and be more confident,&out there but we are not all cut from the same cloth.
