Mine also started before the meds....so thinking it has to be the fibro....but then as a secondary side effect of the meds later after diagnoised n meds are started...sounds like we are all deztibed to be bald? NOT.....Im on hair, skin n nails vitamins. I've heard they help.....so trying them....can't hurt right? I've had compliments recently that my hair is thicker....even my hairdresser said keep doing what you're doing....so give it a try. Not real expensive either! $8.99 for 150 of them n they were bug one get one free.....so like $4.99 for 150 of them....my kind of deal!!!!! Good luck!!!!!

I have experienced GREAT hair loss lately. I don't know what the cause is. My doctor has checked my vitamin D levels, my thyroid, and my iron levels - all things that can cause hair loss. And they're all normal. Stress can cause hair loss, I know, but I don't seem to be under a lot of stress. I dread taking showers because when I comb out my normally thick, curly red hair, it comes out in clumps, It's gotten to the point where I've bought hair extensions to add length and volume to my hair. It has actually worked wonders for me. They're readily available in all colors on Amazon. I was worried about matching up my hair color, but I found some that match to a "T". It's quite amazing. But my hair is so thin, that it's hard to hide the actual combs of the hair extensions. It's SO frustrating. Like some of you, I used to wish my hair was thinner. Again, be careful what you wish for..... I guess I could try taking vitamins. I take Vitamin D's like crazy. I don't know what can help. I did read that hair loss is a symptom of Fibro. I guess it can come with the crazy territory that we all live in..... sucks!

I luckily dont have this problem. I have thick long hair that goes down past my waist. Maybe a side effect from a medication? Try googling it
