What Helps With Neuropathic Pain?
I found out yesterday that I might have neuropathy in my feet. (I'm getting a test to confirm.) Does anyone else have this? And what helps w/ the pain?
Yes and nothing really helps I have been talking to my doctors so I saw pain management and he prescribed zanaflex to relax the nerve and it send a message to the brain to control the pain I just started it I was able to sleep for the first time in a long and had some energy also I was able to feel my toes so it must help neuropathy in so way I'm hopeful it truly help my spine and body from spasms
I spray the soles of my feet with magnesium. It also helps with muscle spasms. Look up ancient minerals.
I have this in both legs and both arms. In my right arm, it is the nerve running the back of my elbow - that feeling when you bump that and it hurts. Called cubital tunnel syndrome. I actually got out to get my hair cut and colored. I was sitting in his chair and all I did was point my left foot down and an instantaneous burning nerve pain ran all the way down my leg. I couldn't believe it. I was trying to relax!! I take gabapentin and it was recently increased. Not helping yet. I know how you feel. My feet are very numb and it makes me trip and sometimes fall.
I recently discovered that an increase in omega oils and fatty meats helps restore nerve function, it really helps with neuropathy.
