A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cleveland, GA

I have no ins. Been out of work since sept 22, 2015. My current pain mgmt dr, and tests are paid by charity care. My meds all qualified for discounts. Filed for disability been denied, in process of appealing. Need to go to rheumatologist and cannot afford first visit, blood work nor xrays. I'm in North Georgia. Any suggestions. My husband and I have always been the givers and now I am in need of being the receiver. Help plz

There was a program in Gainesville that covered specialists about 6 years ago. I do not remember the name. But call good news clinic and maybe they can tell you.
Do you have an attorney yet? If not Lynn WinshipWinship in Gainesville is fantastic. She got mine and two others I know. She is a good Christian woman.

It took me About 15 month's to get it. The attorney charged a % of back pay. So nothing out of pocket. It seems like they are approving fibro patients a little faster in the last couple of years. Just document, all medical issues.
