If you do apply for disability make sure you have copies of all you medical records and copies of leave slips for every time you left work early or missed s day due to pain from Fibro. I was lucky and had all the proper documentatio. My disability was approved the first time.

When I Demyn 1st got sick I was able to live with my dad who was having money problems also but we survived but he got a job making good money so we bought a house & he lost his good job cause he didn't play office politics but it took about 10 more yrs to get disability & I did odd, really odd jobs to get through the tough yrs with a teenager plus a dad to take care of. But u get by. Barely. Government assistance, food stamps whatever u try for do it! Don't let pride get to u. U don't have to tell anyone ur business! U r strong inside don't forget it! Good luck!

I applied for disability, but got turned down. And haven't tried again for it. I started selling Scentsy. It helps supplement my husband's income. But will be applying for disability again.

I applied for disability and I was turned down. And i reapplied. I went to tribunal and they turned me down again. They made me look like iwas making up. Even with all the medical report. Then i went back to my doctors and she referred me to pain clinic the doctor i saw told me i have had fibro all my life and things started to make sence. iThen was misdiagnosed. I apllied for disability again and this time i got it indefinitely. But now the PIP I have heard means I will have to go through it again. The last one took 4years of frustration and stress and I nearly lost my house. Gentle hugs everyone
