Has anyone used voltaren gel. I use it almost everyday. If you have a lot of joint pain it will work wonders. I'm not sure the price. It is a prescription. I takes away the pain. It's not like ice hot so there's no heat or cold

I started using it a few years ago. My son-in-law introduced me to it when I could hardly stand up because of the pain. It's a wonderful thing to use!!
I buy it right off the shelf, here.

The Voltarin gel didn't work for me either. I have used a diclofenac cream that didn't help much and now I've been prescribed a compounded cream with diclofenac, ketorolac, ketamine and lidocaine in it. Works like gangbusters but it's
Not cheap

I have used Voltaren gel for a few years. Even on my insurance the co-pay is high. Found that over the counter Aspercreme with Lidocaine works better.

Hi. My wife regularly uses Voltarol gel for her back condition. I've used it myself for elbow and shoulder aches & pains eith some good effect. Voltarol (Diclofenic) in its tablet form can be contraindicated for people who also have Asthma, so best to check with a pharmacist before buying or using it if you have asthma. There are other alternative anti inflamatory gels available though. Might be cheaper to ask GP to prescribe it for you. Not sure of price but I think a tube costs around £7.
If you live in the UK, and you're on a number of regular medications, have you looked into paying for a prescriptions pre-pay certificate? Can be purchased for a year or 3 monthly and can often work out much cheaper than paying for each item.
Hope this is helpful. Best wishes.
