Has Anyone Had The FM/a Test?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Nebraska, USA

I have been reading about the FM/a test and how it works. Studies that led to the test show that those with fibromyalgia are unique in having a low level of chemokines and cytokines, which are produced by white blood cells.

I'm curious about this test and the studies that led to its development. I have looked up foods containing the molecules with hopes that they can be replaced by diet or supplementation. I haven't had the test. Has anyone else?

Yes I had the test done. I tested positive at a 60. The test goes from 1 to 100.

There is no real test for fibromyalgia, my doctor told me that when they have eliminated every other autoimune disease, they say you have fibromyalgia, because they don't know what the hell you actually have, he said that there is alwYs something else underlying that shows up in time, usually neurological.
