I loved my job, I enjoyed getting up at 0530, getting ready and drive to work each day. I always felt as if I contributed to the workforce. Then it (FIBRO) hit me. Started at my feet and found its ugly painful way to the top of my body. I continued to work not knowing what the pain was from. Then I was exhausted all time i would sleep 8-9 hours and be exhausted upon waking. Cramps at night so bad I would scream, pain in my legs so intense that I had to leave my husbands side because I was punching my legs due to the pain. I am still exhausted, still in pain, and the pain scale that the hospital uses makes me laugh. I don't ever start my day at a 1,2,3 or 4. The day starts with my body hurts and I wish it would stop or just don't ask because you really don't understand. I am tired or being tired. I no longer am at the job that I truly loved. My body is in a constant state of pain and there has not been any peace for me. I have lost weight in hopes of the pain disappearing with the weight..not that easy. Changed my eating habits, hoping my body would take in the organics and health food and the pain would disappear..nope, So I continue to get up each day and do the best I can put on my game face and trudge through the waters in hope of somehow, somewhere maybe around the corner a painless day or night will be waiting for me.

I did for 15 yrs after being diagnosised, but then could no longer work. My pain level and lack of being able to concentrate forced me to ask to be layed off, until I could get my condition under control. Needless to say, that was the beginning of downward spiral of my being able to have my life as I knew it. I am currently getting a better hold onto my pain level, but my fatigue is horrendous.
