Can't Stand The Pain
Please anyone the pain I have is in my neck back of my head if I move my head I can hear crack crunch if I try to move my head about to ease pain I get nose bleeds
Oooh! So sorry! When my neck pain gets bad, especially when it leads to headache, I use a heating pad that I found in a catalogue that comes up around your neck, rests on your shoulders, and goes a little way down the back. I throw it in the microwave for a few minutes until it's good and hot, put it on, and sit back. It helps, and I don't have to use drugs. Then I gently turn my head until my chin is as far over a shoulder as I can get it and repeat on the other side. As you gently stretch those miserable tight muscles, you will begin to increase your range of motion. I can only do maybe 5 stretches at a time without making things sore, but start small and work your way up. Also, just stretching your chin down toward your chest will help loosen those tight back muscles. And they do get tight, causing yet more pain. Good luck, dear!
I can hear those crunches too. I think it's the cushioning between the joints and discs getting smaller.
We can get tiger balm patches, frm sme £1shops, there quiet big to so maybe you could cut them dwn to fit neck area.they smell really strong of the tiger balm oinmemt..my ex boyfriend bought me a tiny jar of it too along tme ago..then I hadnt heard of it..very strong smelling,,&iam sensitive to strong odours, but good.:-)
Josephineburt, the neck cracking happens everyday and it doesn't hurt but it's loud enough to make you think it would. I've heard of Tiger Balm but have never tried it myself. I use Sombra which is made from capsacin peppers so it can be hot too but like you said we'll try anything to alleviate the pain. Hope your feeling better too.
