the doctor may not want to put you on opioids especially if you are on a benzodiazepine. But describe the pain you feel, and he may give you an antiseizure med or serotonin or norepinephrine inhibitor. , something like Neurontin or Lyrica, or give you physical therapy, in addition to making sure that you do not have any inflammatory illnesses or autoimmune issues which need further exploration.

Speak to you doctor again and if still no response, get another doctor. I agree a rheumatologist will be the best choice. I am grateful for having a good home doctor, whom always took the time to listen to me, through tears and all. A caring doctor makes a big difference when dealing with fibro people. aww poor you your doctor not giving you any pain meds i seriously dont know how you are coping day to day,will your doctor not refer you to a pain specalist.?.if not you need go into his surgery and tell your doctor exactly how you feel and make him listen to you..i forgot myself once and when after numerous visits to doctor he asked me how i felt i just said (shit) and started cryin i was so low in myself that finally he listened and referred me the pain clinic,please go back to your doctors and tell him exactly how you feel its not the doctor going throu the pain its you and your body..please go and get help...take care and keep me posted how you get on at your next visit your doctors..x

What type of doctor is she? You might want to look into going to a specialist that deals with fibromyalgia like a neurologist or rheumatologist.

I panick in hot water,, dnt like it..try co damol, over counter at chemist,, its 500mg of paracetamol&I think 5mg codeine..is mot great but may just take the edge off,, doc can give you 30/500, codamol..30mg codeine, but it can make you sleepy to..evryone dif hun how it affects them..Just be straight &say you want smetjing for pain, crnt leave you like that, be strong hun.:-)
