A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am always sweaty, it's 24/7
I have 2 fans on me in the day at home. I have 2 fans on me at night, in bed. I have the AC on in the car when I am out.

It's really embarrassing. I can be in a shop for less then a minute and I am dripping. It's not like normal sweating, it is literally pouring out of me.

I always try and remember to take a drink if I go out, and I try and Wear light clothes as much as I can.

Just wanted to know if anyone has any tips that might help please. It's… read more

Mine is definitely not the menopause either.

I am definitely going to start carrying wipes around with me as well.
I was thinking of getting a hand held fan (not the electric ones) to carry with me as well (at least if it's not an electric one, I don't need to keep paying for batteries)

Thank you for all your answers, it's definitely a bad part of fibromyalgia

Yeah I have the same symptoms. It's very embarrassing. I try to make a joke of it but if I'm sat down it can look like I've wet myself when I stand again. I dress in light clothes, trying to stick with black so sweat doesn't show as much.

I have air misting cool down spray, electric hand held fan, tissues and wet wipes, body sprays etc in my handbag to try and ease symptoms.

Funnily enough I have signs of Reynard's in my feet so they are always freezing.

Can't win lol x

I am on the menopause so some is that, but im so glad im not the only one who has the fibro type sweaty, as its different, its so bad it drips off me, were the pain is, it burns and turns into sweat even on my arms, but it literally drips down my face and neck its horrible. I use loads of wet ones/baby wipes, keep them in fridge and use them all the time.

One of your drugs causes sweating. For me its Cymbalta.
