Is there more than one type of fibro???? If so, what are the different types and what are the differences?

Right now, from what I'm reading, all fibro is being treated as one fibro. In reality, it is individual, so some people have this symptom while others don't. Everyone's bodies deal with fibro differently.

There's also the reality that many of us with fibro have other health problems on top of fibro. Migraines and fibro, asthma and fibro, CFS and fibro, IBD and fibro, etc. That complicates treatment.

I've had Fibro for 11 years and I'm 11 times worse than when I started. There are different levels as well as an age component.

I totally believe there are different levels of fibro!! I get so frustrated when someone says to me "oh so and so has Fibro and they work full time"!! There is no possible way I could work and they look st me like I'm a loser. I believe the levels can change as well and as time goes on you can get worse but my doctor also told me they are finding Fibro sometimes burns itself out so I'm hoping for that to happen to me!!!

I think it gets worse definately, mine is everyday now and I seem to be able to time when it kicks in! (If it is 'all fibro') But I get what people say when the doctors put everything down to fibro, it does get frustrating like you're being fobbed off!

I found that it's worsening but that the symptoms are forever changing and multiplying. Im no expert but I think people do experience different levels of severity and that tramatic experience such as a car accident, difficult pregnancy or ptsd have a huge impact on how quickly fm takes control of ur body. Looking back I know that I had fm long b4 my accident but it only became an issue after it.
