Has Anyone Found Shiatsu Foot Massagers Effective ?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Chippenham, UK

Amongst many other symptoms, I have suffered a lot with very sensitive soles of my feet. Also, I get sharp pains in my toes and joints, blood vessels sometimes burst, my calves lock up and go solid, and my feet can get very 'tingly'. Has anyone used a shiatsu foot massager, as I am considering one but am interested if anyone has benefited from using one for this purpose. Thank you in advance for any replies, I would really appreciate any feedback :)

Hi Jaml, Shiatsu is a form of Japanese massage. It's all to do with zen, chi & energy meridians. I have heard it is quite expensive as obviously you have to pay every visit. There are machines which replicate the massage, which is why I've asked if anyone has benefited as i'm interested in obtaining one. The fact that you say it feels wonderful after a massage already makes me feel positive about looking into it further. Glad to hear it gives you such relief, and thank you for your reply.

I do not know what a shiatsu foot massage is BUT when I have a massage I have the person concentrate on my feet and legs and boy does that feel wonderful.
