Has Anyone Tried Belbuca
So my pain management doctor put me on the Belcua pain patch that I am supposed to use every 12 hours using my oxycodine as a filler for in between when the pain becomes unbearable. Has anyone ever tried this medication? I'm concerned about the side effects that I have read about
There are many people who are helped with opioids that stay on the same dosage for years. Sometimes they are the only things that help with minimal side effects. People can take a lot of anti-inflammatories and end up with stomach and throat problems. Anti-epileptics can affect brain synapses. Each drug has its own good and bad effects. I believe it is all an individual choice and maybe depends on how your body processes different medications.
I would never use opioids for Fibromyalga. The dosage has to increased to cover the pain. At some point you won't be able to find a stronger pain Med. So, you have to reduce your meds. I'm not doing that!!!
My point with opioids is that you will have Fibro forever and your body will become dependent on the opiods. Hopefully, you'll be a lucky person who stays in remission. I have taken opioids for 12 years for back problems. After my upcoming back surgery, I will get off the opiods and take Gralise for the Fibro. None of my doctors will prescribe opiods for Fibro.
I know the pain of Fibro. And I agree that it is a personal decision. I pray you will improve.
