Hi I have been prescribed nortriptyline. How high a dose are people on and does it help? Did people also feel very low in the first few weeks of taking it
Thanks

Yes, not only low but very, very tired the next day. The relief was not worth it for me if I couldn't function the next day. I hope it works for you.

I'm on 20mg at night. Tbh I can't really tell if it's made an improvement with pain or not. My Dr said it works best when used alongside something else, like Effexor ( Venlafaxine) but I tried Effexor and had bad side effects. He also said to take it at about 6pm so that it's kicked in by bed time and should hopefully help with sleep.
