Full Flair/throwing Up???

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Tannersville, VA

Hi my friends, Last Sunday morning I woke up feeling better than I had I years!!! Yes years!!! The good days ended yesterday(1 good week out of 52) starting with a massive headache, and nauseated. Went to the grocery store and my body went into full flair, by the time I got home I was throwing up all night. I didn't feel sick sick, just my pain had returned with a vengeance. My question is; has anyone just throw up like that during a flair, and major brain fog? Xoxo (Thanks for listening)

Yes I do. Everytime I go into a store that takes me more than 15 min I get sick throwing up before I can even get out of the store and it last until late in the night. This past week I had 4 good days. It had been 15 months with no relief. I had almost given up. I alreafy take 4 medications daily for fibro, but this tome when o went to the dr he put me on 5 mg of prednisone. Its been my mircle drug so far. Ive been on it for 10 days so far. When I would see other people and notice how they laughed and had so much energy, I'd forgotten what that felt like. Im only 39, I'm not suppose to feel this way. It has gotten to the point that I can no longer drive myself to work, it's an hour drive one way. My husband drives me and my daughter or my dad drives me back half way to meet my husband. I work at our families business that started in 1914. I'm the 5th generation to work there. Its also gotten to where I only work 3 days per week now. But so far ive only been able to go in 1 to 2 days. Whenever I do drive myself to work I had to stop 3 to 4 times to throw up from the pain. Then when I get to work it takes 2 hours for my body to calm down. When I get sick like that and the pain is so overwhelming I break out in a cold sweat and turn red all over, my chest, arms, and face. I've had cashiers at the store ask me if they need to call an ambulance. The best way to describe my pain is my whole body 90% of the time feels like when I was a kid and I jumped off something really high and would get the burning stinging pain in my feet, but woth fibro its my whole body in pain. That's the best way I've found that describes fibro pain, it's horrible. Do you have any of the same symptoms? Have you tried prednisone? I'd love to hear back from you and hear your story.

Yep! I should a slight pain reprieve, when it all comes back it seems I first notice the migraine aura and nausea, and if I don't figure out the right medicine on time, its bad nausea and full body muscle spasms. I seem especially susceptible when the weather changes. Isn't it lovely.?

My fibro fog has gotten to the point that when I go shopping I have to write down the isle number I park in. The last 5 trips to Walmart I couldn't find my vehicle. My lock button on my car keys will only work of I'm 2 isles away. I hit it to blow the horn so I can find my car. It was terrible. I'm trying to run 2 businesses and when the brain fog is so bad I have to use a calculator to add 2+2 it makes it so hard.
